Review:

Maledia are a symphonic progressive gothic metal band from Italy. Their music is richly gothic, and is distinguished by the interplay between the operatic lead vocals of Loo and the male vocals of guitarist Daniele. ****

The music swirls from quiet piano and atmospherics, to powerful riffage, to soaring crescen dos. An enormous amount of effort has been put into each song, and although it can get a little hysterical at times, this is a totally awesome platter. Stand outs include the title track and Fly to Die, with Ti Sento being very catchy. If you like your music melodramatic, romantic, and gothic, rush to their Myspace site, where you can have a listen.
