Currently in its third season, Hannah Montana continues
to be a phenonmeon for the Disney Channel, following the
trials and misadventures of a teen (Miley Cyrus) with a
pop persona as a secret identity while struggling to live
a normal live with her manager father (Billy Ray Cyrus),
brother, and friends. The show has made Cyrus a tween sensation,
and with her character coming in theatres, "Keepin' It Real"
is the perfect appetizer for her fans before getting to
the main course when the film opens on April 10. ***
Volume 5 features five episodes that includes the current
season's "Ready, Set, Don't Drive", as Miley gets excited
to take Driver's Ed but soon learns that the road is bumpy.
"Don't Stop 'Til You Get the Phone" and "We're All On This
Date Together" are from season two. The first finds Miley's
dad Robby not letting Miley buy a new phone, so she decides
to sell a picture of Hannah Montana to the press to pay
for it -- but it may lead her double life being exposed.
The second is the season finale, in which her longtime crush
Johnny Collins and Rico fights over who gets to date Hannah
Montana for a charity auction. ***
