Review:

The second half of Nickelodeon's iCarly's first season consists of 13 episodes in a two-disc set, following the young Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove, who co-sung the theme with fellow Nick heartthrob Drake Bell of Drake & Josh), who hosts and produces her own online show with friends Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress). Produced by Head of the Class alumni Dan Schneider, iCarly became the first show in television history to have youth-oriented original concept in its script. ***

The second part of season one finds Carly and Sam breaking into the principal's office to change her history grade from a B+ to an A, but gets caught by the police; Carly meets her number-one fan -- literally, while Sam dates Freddie's best friend that may put the show in jeopardy; Sam and Carly celebrate five years of friendship, and their show caught the interest of an producer -- but soon discovers that fame isn't all cracked up to be. ***

Special Features:

Behind the scenes with the cast of iCarly; Behind-the-Scenes Extras; Special Bonus: Pilot of True Jackson, VP from the Studio

Final Words:

Watch iCarly on Nickelodeon, so check your local listings, as well as get volume two of season one now available on DVD. ***
