Review:

An urban, hip version of The Patty Duke Show, Sister, Sister follows responsible Tia Landry and carefree Tamera Campbell (Tia and Tamera Mowry), who discovered that they're twins separated by birth. Now face-to-face for the first time, they don't want to be apart once more, so the twins, Tia's cool mom Lisa (Jackee), and Tamera's strict father Ray (Tim Reid) all decide to live together until one roof as a family. The twins encountered several misadventures -- including the neverending, unwanted advances of next-door "Go home!" Roger Evans (Marques Houston). ***

Season two consists of 19 episodes, as the twins entered the working world, get their learner's permit, take the SATs, get detention, played hooky, and get asked out by a guy who doesn't know that they're twins. Tia and Tamera began their search for their birth parents when they entered the same hospital that not only get their appendixes removed, but it is also the same hospital where they were born. ***

The girls gained an nemesis in the form of Rhonda (Bianca Lawson, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Save the Last Dance), the most popular girl in school. Meanwhile, Lisa gains in a love interest this season with store market manager Terrence (Dorien Wilson, The Parkers), who proposed to her in the finale and she accepted. But will Lisa say "I do" when she may realize that she could have feelings for Ray? ***

None

Final Words:

It's the double the trouble and double the fun once more with season two of Sister, Sister available on DVD.
