Yet another season of the long running animated series
“South Park” has been released on DVD and now on {Blu-ray),
only this time, the shows are completely uncensored. This
three-disc set contains the fourteen episodes that ran between
March and November of 2008. ***
This {Blu-ray} edition shows details that you haven't
seen before on past seasons,such as the character's clothing
and the colorful sets around the scenes that they are involved
in for each scene.The animation can be a bit annoying at
times during moving scenes throughout each episode but this
is something that is natural for a digital dvd copy compared
to the old tape format although it still looks great.
Episode 1--Tonsil Trouble: Eric Cartman has been diagnosed
with an incurable disease, but no one seems to care. With
no one left to support him, he’s forced to take matters
into his own hands. ***
Episode 2--Britney’s New Look: A weary Britney Spears
escapes into the mountains near South Park, only to be found
by the four boys. It isn’t long before Stan and Kyle get
caught up in Britney’s celebrity, which always seems to
follow her. ***
Episode 3--Major Boobage: The boys believe that Kenny
is skipping school because of the latest drug craze to sweep
the youth of South Park by storm. Kyle’s parents have reason
to believe that their son is also getting high when contraband
is found in his room. ***
Episode 4--Canada On Strike!: The boys find themselves
responsible for settling a strike led by the head of the
World Canadian Bureau. Celebrities Terrance and Phillip,
conflicted over whether or not they should support the strike,
decide to investigate. ***
Episode 5--Eek, a Penis!: As Ms. Garrison pursues his
dream of becoming the man he always wanted to be, Cartman
is put in charge of teaching his classmates. His gift for
reaching the most difficult kids in the school system extends
to a group of inner-city kids, whom no other teacher has
been able to reach. ***
Episode 6--Over Logging: Desperate to have internet
access, which everyone in South Park has lost, Randy Marsh
packs up his family and heads to California in search of
a signal. ***
Episode 7--Super Fun Time: Cartman and Butters ditch
their class fieldtrip to an 1880s-themed pioneer village
and go to the next-door amusement center. Meanwhile, Mr.
Garrison and the rest of the fourth graders are taken hostage
by a group of robbers. ***
Episode 8--The China Problem: Cartman watches the opening
ceremonies of the 2008 Olympic games and realizes that the
Chinese are only days away from invading America. Only he
and Butters take it upon themselves to stand against the
Chinese. ***
Episode 9--Breast Cancer Show Ever: Wendy threatens
to beat up Cartman after school, and no one believes that
she stands a chance against him. *** Episode 10--Pandemic:
The boys scheme to profit from the latest global epidemic,
which the rest of the world struggles to contain. Cartman
hopes to get Craig in on it, since he may be the only one
who can help them. ***
Episode 11--Pandemic 2 – The Startling: The boys find
themselves lost in the Andes Mountains as giant guinea pigs
attack cities all over the world. Worse yet, the Head of
Homeland Security stands in the way of stopping the attacks.

Episode 12--About Last Night ...: When a new President
is elected, the people of South Park join the rest of the
country in celebration. After arriving at the White House
earlier than scheduled, the President-elect assembles his
team and prepares for the job ahead. ***
Episode 13--Elementary School Musical: When the boys
realize that Butters has become more popular than them,
they have no choice but to give in to peer pressure and
do things they never wanted to do. ***
Episode 14--The Ungroundable: The Goth kids of South
Park Elementary look strikingly similar to the vampires
of South Park Elementary, which makes the Goth kids angry.
Meanwhile, Butters can’t get anyone to believe that he has
actually seen a vampire. ***
